Kei Tamai

I had a significant experience attending FAOPS 2024 in Seoul. It was a valuable opportunity to listen directly to lectures from world-leading researchers. The program was rich and fulfilling and provided me with new motivation for both my future research and clinical work. As a poster presenter, I had the opportunity to exchange ideas with various participants. I am eager to continue to put more effort into my research, with the hope that one day I will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation at FAOPS.
Seoul itself was an incredibly attractive city. I was fortunate to deepen my friendships with neonatologists in Seoul and immerse myself in the city’s vibrant culture, which made my experience as a Japanese visitor unforgettable. I would love to visit Seoul again, both for future conferences and in my personal life. I have shared my positive experience at FAOPS with other Japanese neonatologists who were unable to attend this year’s event.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the conference organizers, the speakers, the physicians who engaged with me, and those with whom I enjoyed sharing drinks in Seoul. I look forward to continuing my participation in FAOPS and attending future conferences.
