Takao Kobayashi
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for being selected as a recipient of the young researcher travel support to participate in FAOPS 2024 held in Seoul. This opportunity allowed me to present my research on how serum IL-6 levels predict risk of post-operative systemic inflammatory response syndrome and engage in meaningful discussions with researchers from around the world. Additionally, this conference provided me with valuable insights into the current state of neonatal care in Asia and Oceania and allowed me to better understand Japan’s position and medical standards in this field. I was particularly inspired by the presentations of many Asian researchers, which motivated me to strive further in my own research and clinical practice. This experience has been an important step in my professional development, and I am eager to continue applying my knowledge in clinical practice and to actively present my research in the future. Once again, I appreciate the support provided and the opportunity to further my academic and clinical career.
