FAOPS 2026 Parth Participation Report

Masako Tomimoto

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kobe University Hospital

FAOPS 2026 was my first international conference, and it was an extremely valuable experience. As it was my first time presenting in such a setting, I felt very nervous both before and during my presentation. However, I was especially pleased to receive several questions from the audience. Their interest in my research was highly encouraging and motivating. Although answering the questions was challenging, it also provided a valuable opportunity to identify areas where I need to improve my explanations and deepen my understanding.
Throughout the conference, I was impressed by the active and dynamic discussions in every session. Participants openly exchanged ideas, asked insightful questions, and offered constructive feedback. This atmosphere highlighted the importance of communication and collaboration in advancing scientific research.
Attending FAOPS 2026 has greatly increased my motivation to continue my research and improve my presentation skills. I hope to apply what I have learned from this experience to my future work and to participate more confidently in international conferences.
In addition, this was my first visit to Perth, the host city. I was impressed by its beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, and the kindness of the people. It is a place I would very much like to visit again.
