I presented our study, “Perinatal Changes in Cerebral Oxygenation Monitored Continuously before and after Delivery” at the PSANZ + FOAPS conference. During the poster session, I was able to interact with researchers interested in changes in cerebral oxygen metabolism. It was also very rewarding to learn about the research environments at other institutions.
Whilst other researchers seemed to grasp the content of my poster to a certain extent, I was acutely aware of my limited English skills when attempting to engage in deeper discussion. However, I believe my communication skills have improved compared to before I attended this conference.
This experience has significantly boosted my motivation to disseminate my research and engage in communication.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the grant that supported my participation in this international conference.
